for the love of ceramic drinking vessels!

I absolutely have an obsession with handmade ceramics. I have a ridiculous collection and I feel the need to share some of my favorite makers. I have recently collected a few of my new favorites over the holidays as well. Here are some of the stars of the show:

This is one of my newest additions. I got this at a holiday market and I know I can’t pick favorites but… ANK Ceramics.. I love this mug!!

This little cutie is the best for afternoon coffee. It’s small but nice and thick which I love. Good Kind Work releases are hard to come by so if you see something available – grab it!

Speaking of Good Kind Work – this is another piece that’s always in my hand. I love love love this mermaid mug. A short fish mug is next on my list!

This is another local Maine maker – Elizabeth Benotti Ceramics. This mug holds a LOT of liquid for those who like a big a** cup of tea.

This little sunshine cup is from Helen Levi. I actually got it on a seconds sale and couldn’t resist. I don’t believe it’s available any longer but if I were to grab something else from the site – the composition mug is amazing!!

Last but certainly not least – Isabel Halley Ceramics. UHG. I pined after these striped cups for so long and finally bought two because she was having a sale. I already need more! I got a water cup and a wine cup. HIGHLY recommend.

An overdue renovation update and a happy new year!

It’s been a teeny bit over two months since we closed on our house and since then we’ve done a lot of changes. I thought it necessary to document some of the progress that’s happened over here since we moved in a few weeks ago.

We bought a house!

There have been so many lessons along the way to get to where we are now but we finally OWN a house. First thing we did after we closed? Started ripping down cabinets and taking doors off hinges. I couldn’t wait a single second more to start making this place ours. It’s going to be…
