Sometimes there are way too many options when it comes to decorating a space. There are so many styles and so many rules about juxtaposition, combining vintage with new, the list is endless and if you dive deep into design blogs like I do – you might find yourself even more confused.

My personal style bounces all over the place and I can never make up my mind about what I like because the possibilities are also endless. I like color, but I don’t really like color in my own home.

SO here’s a series I would like to start where I design templates for rooms inspired by children’s literature which is something I adore endlessly. Let me know what you think or what you’d like to see! This template includes my favorite upholstered bed of all time and colors from a palette that says, “have you ever read Beatrix Potter?”

fun finds – January

hrifting/antiquing. I genuinely get a thrill from finding something I just HAVE to have, even if it means nothing to anyone else. Although we’re not at the decorating phase of working on our house yet, a girl can still shop.

An overdue renovation update and a happy new year!
