March mood board

Happy last month of winter (fingers crossed)! Although the ground is covered in snow here in Maine, I’m excited that March has arrived. January, February, and March seem to be painful months to get through. The days are dark, the weather is challenging, and the activity options are limited (in my opinion). For me, there’s been a lot of shopping and drinking wine (although.. I guess I do that year round).

I’ve been exploring my relationship with color lately – still trying to figure out what works for me. My themes this month seem to be: fun shoes, jewelry moments, lived in homes, comfortable patterns, and as always, a New England touch.

fun finds – January

hrifting/antiquing. I genuinely get a thrill from finding something I just HAVE to have, even if it means nothing to anyone else. Although we’re not at the decorating phase of working on our house yet, a girl can still shop.

An overdue renovation update and a happy new year!

It’s been a teeny bit over two months since we closed on our house and since then we’ve done a lot of changes. I thought it necessary to document some of the progress that’s happened over here since we moved in a few weeks ago.
