a creative direction series: couples photography

There’s a lot of incredible photography out there but unfortunately there’s also a lot of bad photography. Photography is an incredible art form but it has to be done in such a way that you feel it’s art, not just an image but more of a moment in time. One of my favorite Pinterest boards I’ve created is filled with photographs that I adore. As the weather gets warmer and cameras begin to defrost, I thought it would be nice to round up some photography inspiration specific to couples:

fun finds – January

hrifting/antiquing. I genuinely get a thrill from finding something I just HAVE to have, even if it means nothing to anyone else. Although we’re not at the decorating phase of working on our house yet, a girl can still shop.

An overdue renovation update and a happy new year!

It’s been a teeny bit over two months since we closed on our house and since then we’ve done a lot of changes. I thought it necessary to document some of the progress that’s happened over here since we moved in a few weeks ago.
