I’ve heard a lot of people express how long they’ve dreamt of their weddings – who they were going to marry, what they would wear, the perfect venue, etc. Me? I’ve dreamt about my future house. I’ve collected bits and pieces as I’ve visited and admired other’s homes. I have imagined how it would feel, function, support, and grow my entire life. I was fortunate to grow up in the house that my parents still live in today and never move. I picture the same thing for myself and our future family. As we’re approaching a home-ownership phase of our life, I wanted to make a brief list of the details that feel timeless to me. fun finds – January

hrifting/antiquing. I genuinely get a thrill from finding something I just HAVE to have, even if it means nothing to anyone else. Although we’re not at the decorating phase of working on our house yet, a girl can still shop.

An overdue renovation update and a happy new year!

It’s been a teeny bit over two months since we closed on our house and since then we’ve done a lot of changes. I thought it necessary to document some of the progress that’s happened over here since we moved in a few weeks ago.
