I have a few things on the brain for May; orange marigolds, dreamy bathrooms and appreciating the importance of being organized and allowing mess at the same time. While May came kind of quickly, I’m glad to be one month closer to summer. I’m confident that we are all our best selves when the summer sun meets our skin daily. As I briefly mentioned in a previous post, we’ve been on the house hunt here in Maine. While it’s been both overwhelming and stressful, it’s also exciting and imaginative all at the same time. I can feel my interior design wheels spinning faster than they have in a while. I’m very much looking forward to settling into a space and really feeling like I can make it our own. While it might be a hot minute before I can indulge in that, I’m dreaming up inspiration for what could be. Here’s what’s inspiring me this May and onwards:

fun finds – January

hrifting/antiquing. I genuinely get a thrill from finding something I just HAVE to have, even if it means nothing to anyone else. Although we’re not at the decorating phase of working on our house yet, a girl can still shop.

An overdue renovation update and a happy new year!

It’s been a teeny bit over two months since we closed on our house and since then we’ve done a lot of changes. I thought it necessary to document some of the progress that’s happened over here since we moved in a few weeks ago.
